CTE “Get Real” Video Contest 2018

The “Get Real” video challenge.
The state’s Workforce Board encourages Washington middle and high school students to create videos that promote CTE at their local schools.

Winning teams can earn as much as $250 for their CTE department. All it takes is a cell phone, some creativity, and meeting a few contest guidelines. Get all the details here: http://www.wtb.wa.gov/CTEvideoproject.asp

Contest deadline is April 30, 2019

Help students connect with local employers!

Talking to local business people shows why CTE provides added value. It’s also a video contest requirement. Employers MUST be someone who has hired students from the same CTE concentrator path the student is in. They CANNOT be school district employees. Please help teachers and students find local business people who can speak to the “business value” of CTE!

We’re looking forward to some awesome, “outside the box” videos from middle and high school students. No one tells the story of CTE better than our students.
