The GHS Road Map to College Financial Aid Event
Thursday, January 21st, 6 to 8 pm in lab 121

12th Graders! This free event will provide support to high school students and their families as they navigate the financial aid process. Students have the opportunity to work with trained volunteers and financial aid experts as they apply for scholarships and file the FAFSA or WASFA.

What to Bring

All Attendees:

  • Your driver’s license or identification card.
  • Your income information. This includes bank statements, a W-2 or pay stub, and a past tax return.
  • Your parent, if you are 24 or younger.
  • Your parents’ financial information. Parents should bring a copy of their previous year’s tax return.
  • Additional financial information such as child support statements, TANF or welfare information, real estate, investments, family business or farm info.

FAFSA Filers Must Also Bring:

  • Your Social Security Card (or number) or green card.
  • One parent’s Social Security Number (if they have one).

Financial Aid Events are held in partnership with the 12th Year Campaign and College Goal Washington.  Events are free and open to all 12th graders, so come to as many as you want and get your cash for college!
