Dear 6th period

Dear 6th period,

I’m terribly sorry for abandoning you on Wednesday. I was excited to tell you about conditionals since they’re so useful but sadly I got a migraine. Migraines are not fun.

As I wrote on the board, I would like for you to spend your long period doing work with conditionals as well as continuing to explore Python in general. By the end, I would like for you to turn in two files: one with at least one constant change practice and another with at least four conditionals practice. Turning in more than that is highly encouraged and will definitely not be forgotten by me, the person who gives you a grade. I expect that you will be working with Python the whole period except for a five minute break roughly in the middle.

For those who like summaries:

  1. Finish any loose ends including constant change practice
  2. Read over conditional notes and try the examples.
  3. Do conditionals practice.
  4. Check out what others did for the Turtle assignment.
  5. Turn in two files: one with at least one constant change practice and another with at least four conditionals practice.
  6. Do impressive Python stuff to show me when I get back.

If you are awesome, which I have no reason to think you won’t, you will get to watch a movie next time I’m out. So please be awesome.

Also, make sure you give Nick ice cream and Sandra chocolate. =)

Much love,

Ms. Martin
