The first assignment is now graded and I was quite happy overall.  You guys showed a good understanding of procedural decomposition, syntax and style.

Reading the custom verses got me through the grading!  Here are some of the highlights:

Java makes me really losta
But I know I want pasta

I interpret code like the movie Tron
Riding in a lightcycle, only able to turn at right angles

Hey homies, my code is gonna rock this place
With a method named main and a curly brace
and that, homies is the end of this song.

I didn’t know much about computers before
But Ms. Martin opened the programming door!

I write so much code that my fingers get swollen
I always comment my code because it might get stolen

I click compile and expect to see my figure train
But what do you know? I forgot to add a main!

Me coding is excellent, the best in the class
This is all correct, so don’t try to sass

No matter how long my code may go
The organization always gives it good flow

Ya never met a girl coder like me
Open up ya eyes but still can’t see
My codes are nicer than sparklin’ diamond
Can’t even be told off by cowell, simon
I am awesome, the world’s gotta know

So in conclusion my codes like nuclear fusion
Delusion, confusion, and often morbid exclusion

I’ve made a million dollars
My codes transfer a million callers
Ain’t nobody with me but ballers

I remember curly braces-like a boss
I compile programs-like a boss
I slang code-like a boss
Who the boss homie?

I get extra credit, cuz I’m so fly
